AI things this week

A friend shared this article which had some interesting ideas on how to make
designs that don’t look like run-of-the-mill AI designs.

And a colleauge shared this article through which I learnt of some weird ways
to exploit Claude Code. The bottom-line being that be wary when running Claude
in the auto mode (which is now the default mode). Use an isolated environment!

Doctors who treat you like a person

We (the wife and I) happened to be at Dr. Rajat Chauhan’s clinic for a quick
check-up. It’s such a pleasure every time to meet him. This session we chatted
about the wife’s writing journey, her illustrations, self-publishing vs
publishing with someone like Penguin, the economics of writing and making a
living through it, AI generated books, etc.

I wish we had more doctors like him who treated patients like people, and not
just a heap of flesh and bones. I’d highly recommend him if you are in NCR and
need any ortho consultations!

Also, on that note, we finally were able to finish formatting a short novella
that the wife has written, and were able to send it out to a potential editor
from a publishing group. Let’s see how that goes!

More cleans and high-pulls

I’ve been continuing to make slow and steady progress on my cleans (and
high-pulls) this week, with 3 sessions that I managed to squeeze in. I haven’t
gotten as much feedback as I’d have liked, but I think I’m figuring things out
and getting better at this.

L & A’s Birthday

cake for L & A (PC: the wife)

L&A have turned 3 this weekend, and they are at our place with their Parents.
It’s been a whirlwind weekend, and there’s going to be another week full of it!
Shreya & Sid also were here with their parents to celebrate. I got to bake the
Chocolate Almond Olive Oil Cake after a long time, and it turned out well –
all the kids gave it a thumbs-up.
