    Sid's art

As a birthday gift, Sid made a cute drawing of an “Alien Party in Space” with generous help from his mom in making it interpretable for the rest of us. I love the idea of an alien space party!

Utsav’s video of his Italy trip’s watercolor journal was a fascinating and inspiring watch for me.

  • Orange & Olive Co. and art stall

We tried doing a bakes + art stall in a gated community’s Dasara “fete”, but it turned out to be a sad affair. The footfall was abysmal and so were the sales. We did have a couple of interesting conversations – folks saying that our stall looks too European for this audience, another person suggesting venues like La Makaan and Our Sacred Space, etc. Maybe some day.

If you’d like to judge for yourself, Pushp is making some fine chocolate gift boxes for Diwali. Reach out if you’d like to place an order or find out more!

  • Movies & More

Asim shared this stand-up with Saa, which I then shared with Shantanu for the Bikaner connection. I think I’ve only watched a handful of Nishant’s videos, and enjoyed this one!

We also watched a couple pet-love movies over this week, which we enjoyed.

    • The Friend is about a writer who inherits the pet dog of a friend who dies
    • Okja is about a teenage girl who helps raise a “super pig” and fights a corporation to keep him
  • Workouts

The week went in recovering from all the running around (which doesn’t count as workout?) post the gallery. But, I was able to squeeze in some treadmill running and 1 session in the gym. I did get some critical comments on my Deadlift form that I’ll need to work on. Again, no sport this week too. :(

Feel free to send me an email with your comments.
